As a KS1 or KS2 teacher, you will be responsible for creating a positive, inclusive, and dynamic learning environment where every student can succeed. You will work closely with a supportive team of educators, developing and delivering lessons that inspire and engage children. You will also have the opportunity to shape young minds, fostering a love of learning and helping students build the skills they need for future success. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons for KS1 and/or KS2 students in line with the national curriculum
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that supports the academic, social, and emotional development of every student
- Use a range of teaching strategies and resources to engage students and meet their diverse learning needs
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to help each child achieve their full potential
- Foster a positive classroom culture that encourages respect, responsibility, and teamwork
- Work closely with colleagues to share best practices and ensure a consistent approach to teaching and learning across the school
- Communicate effectively with parents, providing regular updates on student progress and discussing any concerns or achievements
- Participate in school activities, meetings, and professional development opportunities
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- A passion for teaching and working with children in KS1 and/or KS2
- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum for both KS1 and KS2
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create engaging and inclusive learning experiences for children of all abilities
- Experience in primary education (desirable but not essential)
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to maintain a positive learning environment
- A commitment to continuous professional development and improvement
